Unlike traditional HRT options, pellets are the only delivery system that provides a steady blood serum level over time and the chemical structure of the hormones is the same as those naturally produced in your body.
Upon scheduling a visit with our provider, we will take a thorough history including whether you have previously used other HRT methods. You will have blood work drawn to determine if you are a candidate for hormone pellets, then you will schedule an appointment for pellet insertion. The pellets are very small and compounded specifically for you in a nationally-accredited, sterile pharmacy. They are inserted in the office and the insertion process is generally painless.
